TMC, Burn, Love and The Big Group snap up top accolades at The Drum's RAR Awards 2018

TMC Strategic Communication, Burn, Love and The Big Group snapped up the Grand Prix awards at The Drum’s Recommended Agency Register (RAR) Awards 2018.

Brands including Mastercard, Diageo, The Kellogg Company Limited,British Heart Foundation, Merlin Entertainment Group, Nestle and more submitted their views on a cross-section of the industry’s marketing services providers.

The ‘Small Agency’ category (40 staff or less) included the likes of TMC, Cool Blue Brands and Zeal Creative who took home awards in this section. However, the two Grand Prix gongs awarded in the category went to Burn and, for the third year in a row, to TMC Strategic Communication.

TMC managing director, Tim McCloud said: "It is absolutely amazing to have won this award. This is about the team who have worked so hard on trying to develop relationships with our clients and that's the most important thing because trust in the relationship means everything to them.

"Winning puts us forward and makes us visible to other agencies and brands.The awards we have won tonight gives us credibility, which allows us to showcase to our clients that independently, we have proven our ability to perform and make a difference for them."

Love bagged the Grand Prix for an agency with 40-99 staff members and The Big Group for 'Large Agency' (100+).

Another big winner on the night was RRD, grabbing the awards for Print, Client Service, Creativity/innovation and Service Delivery in the 100+ category. 

RRD's creative director, Corey Stewart said: "It's good to win an award for a great logo or a clever piece of work but to win an award because the client says that they enjoy working with you and they value what we do for them, means so much more."

The RAR awards are based strictly on clients rating agencies they have selected via the register's platform.

Each year the RAR downloads the ratings from its database to identify which agencies are the highest-rated by clients, and recognises those best-in-class agencies via the awards. Winning can only be achieved through the high regard of clients, demonstrated with ratings on recommendedagencies.com.

The winners were announced at the awards ceremony, 25 April at the Marriott, Grosvenor Square, London.
