Creative Social, working in partnership with The Dots, has listed its century of ‘creative superheroes’ to mark the launch of its third book, Creative Superpowers: Equip Yourself for the Age of Creativity.
The comprehensive roll-call was compiled by a panel of ten industry figures who nominated a further ten individuals within their own area of expertise. The list expands further beyond the typical artists and filmmakers to include architects, makers, hackers, musicians, marketers and teachers.
Daniele Fiandaca, co-founder of Creative Social and Utopia, and co-editor of Creative Superpowers, explained the importance of the list during a time where AI has an influence on work.
She said: "Creativity will ultimately be the difference between whether you thrive or survive. And in this new age of creativity, it will be the people who can harness the four creative superpowers of maker, hacker, teacher and thief who will shape the future.
“Our Creative Superheroes are the people we believe that are already shaping that future and we hope this list helps celebrate everyone’s creativity.”
