Times Up Advertising, the first industry chapter of Hollywood-borne activist group Times Up, has released its first spot, calling upon Judge Brett Kavanaugh to withdraw himself from consideration for the US Supreme Court.
Following a tweet sent earlier in the week calling for the judge to step down upon accusations from California professor Christine Blasey Ford (with two more women coming forward this week), members of the group appeared in a video, asking for him to step down from his nomination proceedings.

“We the people call on you to withdraw your nomination to the Supreme Court of the United States of America," the unnamed advertising professionals said.
“We call on you to withdraw — not as a declaration of guilt or innocence — but as a declaration that the sanctity, legitimacy, integrity of the highest court in the land are more important than any one man, or one man’s ambitions.”
They referenced the nominee’s alleged perjury during his initial hearings in front of Congress, on top of the mounting allegations against him, as reason to step away.
“The safety and dignity of women is no longer secondary to the needs of powerful men,” the women said. “History calls on you to withdraw, immediately.”
This marks the first piece of collateral from the group since aligning with Hollywood's group back in March amid Madison Avenue's own scandals. The group had hosted a town hall for female professionals in June, but has remained relatively silent until this video's launch.
