This week has seen another wave of appointments and departures at brands, media owners and agencies. The Drum has rounded up the key moves from the EMEA, APAC and North America regions below.

Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles
Eris Felber has been appointed the new head of communications for the Volkswagen commercial vehicles brand. He will report directly to the chairman of the board of management, Dr Thomas Sedran.
Carat Manchester
Carat Manchester has promoted Pete Metcalfe to managing director. Metcalfe joined the group less than ten year ago and has risen through the ranks, demonstrating its commitment to nurturing talent. He has previously been head of digital at Carat.
Isobar
Global digital agency Isobar has hired Vanessa de Groot as global client partner to help drive growth and bolster Isobar’s global remit from Amsterdam, Netherlands. As digital innovation consultant, de Groot will be critical to growing Isobar’s global accounts and driving Isobar’s position in the Netherlands and across the network.
TSB
TSB has appointed a head of marketing transformation, social media and content in former Post Office and Specsavers marketer Keith Gulliver, tasking the exec with leading a new "internal content studio".
Overseeing social and content strategy, Gulliver will be charged with steering the TSB Studio, which is being launched with the help of in-house specialist Oliver Agency to bolster the brand's internal marketing capabilities.
Wildfire
Lauren Ingram has been appointed by social content agency, Wildfire, in the newly formed position of head of marketing.
Ingram, who was included in The Drum’s 50 under 30 list last year, will report directly to the chief executive officer and co-found Jon Binstead. Her role will require her to capitalise on recent wins to establish the agency’s reputation globally.
VMLY&R London
Sophie Lewis has also been hired as chief strategy officer, reporting to Jon Sharpe, chief executive officer of Europe.
She will work closely with Andy Ortner, head of integrated strategy.
Oasis and Warehouse Group
Oasis and Warehouse Group’s chief executive officer will be leaving, to be replaced by Hash Ladha, who is currently chief operating officer.
Kelkoo Group
E-commerce advertising service, Kelkoo Group, has appointed Simon Reed as its new commercial director, to drive sales and boost return on ad spend.
Reed will be based in the London headquarters.
Eight&four
Social and creative agency eight&four has appointed Tony Wright as its head of creative strategy as part of its ongoing restructure around its audience first Seek – Speak – Seed approach.
Wright will be responsible for developing eight&four’s strategic service offering and will actively champion strategic thinking across the agency’s roster of lifestyle, hospitality, food & beverage and not-for-profit brands.
Station Rd
The integrated communications agency has appointed Mike Palmer as its head of creative to lead on brand strategy, creative and campaign activation across the business as well as overseeing its growing creative team.

Yum Brands
Yum Brands has promoted Vipul Chawla to president of Pizza Hut International, stepping up from his post as managing director of Pizza Hut Asia Pacific.
During his time in the Asia Pacific role, Chawla led Pizza Hut’s largest business outside the US in terms of units, almost 5,000 franchise restaurants across 16 markets.
Oath
Oath has names Rose Tsou head of international. In her new role, Tsou will drive the strategic direction of the business sector across APAC, EMEA and LatAm, to drive growth and momementum in non-US markets.

Airbnb
Airbnb has promoted Geoff Seeley to the role of global marketing director and enlisted ex-Apple and Ford marketer Musa Tariq as head of marketing and experiences.
Over the past 12 months, Seeley has been the one constant in Airbnb's senior marketing team.
Group Nine Media
Group Nine Media has announced the hiring Jeff Siegel, formerly head of syndication for Verizon's defunct streaming service Go90, as its senior vice president of distribution.
Siegel's main task is to drive sales and strategy across Group Nine's four brands: Thrillist, The Dodo, Seeker and NowThis, and to expand their collective IP across platforms worldwide.
Madwell
Brooklyn-based ad agency Madwell has partnered with wireless, digital-only carrier Visible to help expand brand presence, develop its launch campaign and establish its voice on social media.
Visible launched earlier this year and has carved itself out in the service provider space as the first all-digital carrier in the United States. Working off of Verizon's 4G LTE network, it has claimed unlimited data, messaging, minutes and mobile hotspot capabilities.
MotoAmerica
MotoAmerica has named Jeff Nasi as its senior vice president of marketing and sales to expand its sponsorship relations.
Prior to this, Nasi worked as director of marketing for 4 Wheel Parts and as senior director, Enthusiast Media at Motor Trend Group, formerly The Enthusiast Network. He will be based out of MotoAmerica headquarters in Costa Mesa, California.
Hearst
4A’s senior vice president of talent initiatives Keesha Jean-Baptiste has left from the trade organization to join publisher Hearst as its senior vice president of human resources.
Jean-Baptiste had joined the 4A’s last summer from Wieden+Kennedy, replacing Singleton Beato as the organization's senior vice president of talent engagement and inclusion initiatives.
360i
360i has appointed WeiWei Dong as group creative director.
Dong has been slated to start on October 22, and she has been partnered with group creative director Piper Hickman to lead creative for clients including Oreo, Champion, 7-Eleven, Mini USA, and others. Hickman had been added to the staff in April.
United Entertainment Group
United Entertainment Group (UEG), a global entertainment, sports and lifestyle marketing agency, has named Michael Nuzzo senior vice president, executive creative director at the company’s New York headquarters.
In his new role, Nuzzo will oversee UEG’s global creative offering with the primary focus of driving creative excellence and capabilities, architecting global campaigns and servicing UEG’s portfolio of brands.
Mono
Minneapolis-based agency Mono has announced the hiring as its first-ever executive creative director in Vanessa Fortier.
Starting October 22, the former McCann Worldgroup executive creative director has been tasked with managing and leading the 15-year old agency’s creative department. The oversight of its creative staff was held by co-founders Michael Hart and Chris Lange, who have now split the role of chief creative officer.
Refinery29
Refinery29 has appointed Ashley Miles its first chief client officer, and head of advertising in North America.
Miles, who had most recently been executive vice president of R29's sales and brand partnerships, has now been tasked to oversee and streamline the publisher's advertising sales, marketing solutions and client services teams. Her responsibilities have spanned across all of its ad revenue strategy, as well as collaborating with its global ad sales teams.
VMLY&R
The pairing of the storied Y&R advertising agency with Kansas City-born digital agency VML has placed longtime VML chief exec Jon Cook in the top spot as the global head of what’s now known as VMLY&R.
Cashmere Agency
Cashmere Agency has added a new executive, William Petersen, as senior vice president, social. In his new role, Petersen will be responsible for the strategic development and execution of all social efforts, leading the company’s innovative approach to social media, creators, and content to tell compelling brand stories.
DDB San Francisco
DDB San Francisco, part of Omnicom Group, announced that Regina Scolaro has joined the agency as digital director. In this role, she will work alongside the agency’s creative and planning directors to orchestrate and lead technology and data facets of all marketing deliverables. She will also work on long-term SEO strategy, analytics, and channel optimization as well as brand building, customer acquisition, engagement, and retention.
Psyop
Psyop is adding Judson Whigham to its leadership team as head of brand development. He will be responsible for shepherding the company’s brand relationships and direct-to-brand capabilities. Whigham joins Psyop from charitable fundraising platform Omaze, where he helped to create a new model that brings together brands, celebrities, and experiences to support charities.
The Brandon Agency
The Brandon Agency, a 100-plus person shop with hubs in Charleston, Charlotte and Myrtle Beach, has added a new creative director to its ranks. Jonathan Williams, who previously served in a similar capacity at Tayloe/Gray, will help guide all things branding-related at the agency known for its work with both global and regional clients alike, from Green Giant to Fish Hippie.
