Creative agency M&C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment has hired Seth Jones as creative director from AnalogFolk. Jones is briefed with overseeing all of the agency’s creative output and will report to UK chief executive, Jamie Wynne-Morgan.
Sagittarius
Digital marketing agency Sagittarius has appointed Simon Etherington as the agency’s executive director of strategic partnerships to support its global expansion plans.
Fetch
Fetch founder and chief executive James Connelly is exiting the business he sold to Dentsu Aegis Network (DAN) for £30m in 2014 to take a "gap year" from the industry.
Dark Horses
The sports marketing agency Dark Horseshas hired Kerry Roper as head of design. He will be responsible for leading and building the Dark Horses design department.
Advertising Association
Philippa Brown has been appointed chair of the Advertising Association (AA), replacing James Murphy. Murphy will become the AA's first exports champion.
Great Rail Journeys
Lisa Wood has left Atom Bank to become sales and marketing director at the travel company, Great Rail Journeys.
American Express
UM has appointed Simon Taylor as managing partner for American Express (Amex). Taylor joins the agency from Havas Media UK, where he also held the position of managing partner.
11 London
Steve Broadhurst has joined 11 London as creative director. Broadhurst was previously executive creative director and managing partner at GHG London.
Integral Ad Science
Integral Ad Science (IAS) has hired Tony Lucia as chief technology officer. Lucia will lead the technology organisation for IAS.
Creative Artists Agency
Creative Artists Agency has appointed Andy Sutherden to serve as head of international for CAA Brand Consulting, the sports, entertainment, and purpose-driven marketing arm of the agency.
Interbrand
Interbrand has appointed Manfredi Ricca to global chief strategy officer, a promotion from his previous role as chief strategy officer, EMEA and Latam.
Deezer
Deezer has appointed Laurence Miall-d’Août as its chief commercial officer. He will be responsible for Deezer’s B2B activities around the world.
IAB Europe
IAB Europe has appointed Dr Daniel Knapp as its first chief economist. The organisation has created this new role to strengthen its market analysis and economic research offering for its corporate members and network of national IABs.
BBD Perfect Storm
BBD Perfect Storm has hired Tony Quinn as its new chief strategy officer, with a brief to help the agency continue to help clients raise the marketing bar.
Innovid
Innovid has hired Seamus Whittingham to lead its EMEA team as managing director, based out of London. In his new role, Whittingham will be focused on driving Innovid’s leadership.

GroupM media agency Mindshare has appointed Kerry Field to managing director of its Melbourne office to lead the agency’s growth and client delivery.
Scott Beaumont has been named regional vice president of Google Asia Pacific. Prior to this new role, he led Google's sales and operations in Hong Kong.
Join the Dots
Join the Dots has announced Karen Schofield is to step down as managing director of Join the Dots Singapore. Maria Spinelli, previously managing director of System 1 APAC, will take on the role of head of Asia, based in Singapore.
RTL AdConnect
Nicole Haman is joining RTL AdConnect as digital sales director from RTL Group’s Multi-Platform Network (MPN) in the Nordics and United Screens, to lead the international digital sales team. She will oversee the development of sales of RTL AdConnect’s digital media offer.
Dentsu Aegis Network
Dentsu Aegis Network is adding new positions to its executive team to focus more on creativity. Dick Van Motman, previously the global president of Dentsu brand agencies, has been named global chief executive officer, creative and Mcgarrybowen co-founder Gordon Bowen has become chief creative officer.
It has also named Nicholas Rey as chief network development officer and So Aoki as chief corporate planning officer.
BBDO New York
BBDO New York announced that Vishal (Vish) Dheiman has joined the agency in the new role as head of tactical innovation. In this role, he will help lead the agency further within the tech and innovation space. He was most recently an executive producer for interactive production and innovation at 72andSunny NYC.
Uber
Taj Alavi is to join Uber as senior director and global head of marketing communications. Alavi is helping the company "tell the next chapter of the Uber story".
The Guardian
The Guardian US has appointed Michael Balabanov as senior vice president of sales. Reporting to The Guardian US and Australia chief executive Evelyn Webster, Balabanov will oversee the US advertising sales and marketing operation.
Merkle
Merkle has appointed Peter Randazzo as global chief technology officer. In this role, he will report to John Lee, Merkle’s chief product and data officer.
Firewood Marketing
Firewood Marketing has promoted Amy Michael to chief revenue officer. In this new position for the agency, Michael will be working closely with the rest of Firewood’s leadership team to expand its services and offerings to new and existing clients.

Buzzoole has appointed Melissa Lee as global operations director, Jane Roy as vice president of the Americas, Manola Pegoraro as global chief finance officer, and promoted Sarah Whitfield to global chief marketing officer.

IAB has named Scott Schiller as one of the trade group's executives-in-residence.

Joe Crump has been named chief executive officer of Wunderman Thompson New York.
Coley Porter Bell
Coley Porter Bell has appointed Jenn Szekely as managing partner in the US. Szekely will report directly into Coley Porter Bell chief executive Vicky Bullen and will be responsible for building the agency’s profile, growing the business, and developing Coley Porter Bell’s US team.
Walker Sands
Walker Sands, a PR and digital marketing agency, promoted Annie Gudorf to vice president of PR. She took the lead for Walker Sands’ expansion in Seattle and will now be taking initiative on Walker Sands’ continued growth on the west coast.
Dailey
Los Angeles independent creative agency Dailey announced the promotion of Dailey veteran Marcus Wesson to chief creative officer. Wesson was previously executive creative director.
AHA
Independent marketing services agency AHA announced the addition of two key executives to its senior leadership team. Giuseppe Lipari has joined the agency as creative director and Melanie Vega-Adamson was named senior director, brand, a new position.
Forsman & Bodenfors
Mike Densmore has been promoted from president to chief executive officer of F&B New York. He will continue to focus on expanding Forsman & Bodenfors’ client portfolio while driving the agency’s collaborative and fluid interdisciplinary ways of working.
