- Content production company Quill has been acquired by Webedia in a deal that will see it bring over its network of 2,400 freelance copywriters and its technology platform.
- Little over a year since culling its print edition, NME publisher TI Media has sold the title to Singapore-based 'music creation platform'BandLab Technologies, along with rock magazine Uncut.
- Evoke has acquired the health communications agency KYNE.

Suzuki UK has strengthened its relationship with Iris, naming it lead creative and strategic partner one year after it won its digital and social account.
The UK feminist political party - the Women's Equality Party - has appointed Quiet Storm as its lead strategic and creative agency.
Gareth Bale’s fitness company Rowbots has appointed The Miroma Group's sport and entertainment marketing agency, New Stance, as its creative agency.
British Airways i360 has appointed You agency to run its creative campaign this summer. The brief includes the development of a new brand toolkit.
Manchester-based PR agency Mason Williams has been appointed by Savage Garden.
Clear Channel Outdoor Holdings has beaten its French competitor JCDecaux on its home turf to secure the City of Paris street furniture contract.
Mastercard is the first major official partner for Arsenal Women Football Club.
APAC Wins
Nova Eyewear Solutions has awarded its advertising and branding mandate to Wunderman Thompson, Kolkata. The agency has also won a tender issued by the Western Australian Department of Fire and Emergency Services for creative agency services.
Americas wins
DDB has been named global brand and creative agency of record for iShares.
EVB has been named the social and digital agency for American Chinese restaurant brand Panda Express.
Reviews
Tourism New Zealand is on the hunt for an agency to handle its digital marketing. Digitas currently handles the consumer-side of the account but the travel body is also looking for an agency to handle media for B2B. Creativebrief is managing the process.
Ikea Australia has put its creative account up to pitch after The Monkeys held the account for 9 years.
Launches
Havas Group has merged a number of its PR shops into a singular global brand offering that will combine traditional earned media strategy with social, content and experiential functions. Havas PR North America, Havas PR in Manchester and Red Agency in APAC have rebranded as Red Havas.
Gleam Futures– the online talent agency that launched Zoella to fame – is opening its own brand consultancy to provide brands with a "single route" to creating and delivering influencer campaigns.
Luke Freeman the chief executive of Wizard Creations and Seth Rand the former chief exec of Rand Marketing have joined forces to create Wizard Digital, a full-service digital marketing agency.
