Pereira & O’Dell has elevated co-executive creative director Rob Lambrechts to the role of chief creative officer.

He replaces PJ Pereira, who will now step into the role of creative chairman. Pereira founded the shop, which has offices in San Francisco and New York, with chief executive Andrew O’Dell a decade ago.

Lambrechts, who is one of the Pereira & O’Dell’s founding employees, played a large part in helping the agency win the Mini and Fifth Third Bank accounts last year. He also recently collaborated with ‘Hidden Figures’ director Theodore Melfi on Coca-Cola’s Christmas campaign and wrote the story for Intel’s social film ‘What Lives Inside.’

“After fourteen years together, no one understands more how I think than Rob,” said Pereira in a statement. “It’s time we give him the space to bring the original principles of this agency to a new level.”

Before joining Pereira & O’Dell in 2008, Lambrechts held copywriter roles at BBH New York and AKQA.
